O NAMA
Rotary klub Čakovec je osnovan 1997. godine. Utemeljiteljski sastanak kandidata za članove budućeg Rotary kluba Čakovec održan je 13. studenoga 1996. godine na imanju Franje Lovreca u Svetom Urbanu.

Posljednje druženje članova Rotary kluba Čakovec u ovoj kalendarskoj godini bilo je 19. prosinca u Hotelu Park. Bila je to prigoda da se osobno predstave novoprimljeni članovi Matija Derk, Davor Radek i Branko Vrčić, kojima je tom prigodom rotarijanske značke uručio predsjednik kluba Tibor Horvat. Svaki od trojice novih članova ukratko je izložio osnovne podatke o sebi.

Na prigodnoj svečanosti u prostorima Izložbenog salona Muzeja Međimurja nagrade su dobitnicima uručili aktualni predsjednik Rotary kluba Čakovec Ivan Marodi i njegov nasljednik u novoj rotarijanskoj godini Tibor Horvat.

Rotary klub Čakovec održao je 12. prosinca 2011. godine redovnu godišnju skupštinu. Skupu su bila prisutna 22 člana, pa su sve donesene odluke pravovaljane. Skupština je održana u čakovečkom Hotelu Park, gdje se i održavaju sastanci RC Čakovec.

Bila je ovo 11. po redu manifestacija čakovečkih rotarijanaca, kojom se slavi blagdan vina i vinara u međimurskom vinogorju. Za naš klub ona je višestruko značajna. Prigoda je to za druženje rotarijanaca i njihovih prijatelja, a ima dobrotvorni karakter, jer je prihod namijenjen nagrađivanju najboljih učenika završnih razreda čakovečkih srednjih škola.
